الملخص:The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of training and development on both satisfaction and personal development of employees engaged within non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working in the Palestinian refugee camps and gatherings in Lebanon. It investigates the following questions: How are training and development practiced by NGOs working in the Palestinian refugee camps and gatherings in Lebanon? What are the significant factors influencing the training and development at NGOs working in the Palestinian refugee camps and gatherings in Lebanon? How do training and development contribute to NGO employees’ job satisfaction and personal development while working in the Palestinian refugee camps and gatherings in Lebanon? What are the challenges linked with training and development at NGOs working in the Palestinian refugee camps and gatherings in Lebanon? For this study, an online survey was designed to examine the link between chosen factors (Training and Development, Personal Development, Compensation, Engagement and Job Satisfaction). The survey was shared with local and international employees of the Lebanese, Syrian and Palestinian NGOs working with the Palestinian refugee camps and gatherings in Lebanon. The findings of this study found out that there is no relation between training and development and personal development however engagement and compensation were associated with personal development.
