Predictors of surgical resection in patients with pancreatic cystic lesions undergoing endoscopic ultrasound with and without fine needle aspiration

EUS-FNA is a valuable tool in the diagnostic evaluation of pancreatic cysts and may allow distinction between mucinous and non-mucinous cysts, yet there are limited data exploring role of EUS-FNA in the decision to recommend surgical resection versus surveillance.
