Regression testing is done in the maintenance phase to verify that the modifications made have not caused unintended adverse side effects and that the modified system still meets the requirements. Testing and Regression testing are significant and costly parts of SDLC. Therefore, Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools are needed by software engineers to assist them for performing these activities.
