In addition, most of the research done is either for the standard Arabic language or the Egyptian colloquial language. Commercial applications related to this field are mostly based on telephony technology. In this thesis, the implementation of a Lebanese colloquial Arabic discrete speech recognition is described. According to our knowledge, the thesis proposed here is the first attempt to implement a speech recognition system for the Lebanese colloquial Arabic language.1 bound copy: ix, 68 leaves; ill.
