Description
Summary:This research shed the light on one category of women, the Druze woman, and proved that although the big steps that this category has gained throughout the history, and the greater rights that have been granted for her in comparison to women of other sects she is still living behind the man not beside him. Therefore, the claim of this research is to discuss in depth the personal legal status of the Druze woman in order to fill its gaps and make the necessary modifications to provide the woman with her own entity and give her a clear identity as a free being in the society, the equal of man, not as a follower. Moreover, the researcher hopes that this unprecedented research will make a further step by motivating other attempts and inspiring similar approaches in order to prove the necessity of p lacing men and women on a footing of equality in society.
