| الملخص: | <p dir="ltr"><b>This conference contribution was presented by Muhammed Sinan Kanneth Darul Huda Islamic University, India (International Conference on Debate and Dialogue. An Initiative of QatarDebate 2025)</b></p><p dir="ltr">Despite being cogent in argumentation as per title, <i>al-Īḍāḥ Fī al-Jadal</i>, a twelfth-century text by Medieval Muslim jurist Yūsuf Ibn al-Jawzī, remains among the least-studied works on <i>jadal</i>. Reviving <i>al-Īḍāḥ</i> as a treatise with temporal significance in <i>jada</i>l, the researcher develops a nuanced analysis of the text and its methodology, and makes a selective comparison with three selected classical precedents.
