description
This conference contribution was presented by Mohammed KP Hamdan Darul Huda islamic University, India (International Conference on Debate and Dialogue. An Initiative of QatarDebate 2025).

This paper seeks to study the impact of debate methods versus non-debate methods on critical thinking skills in the study of Mantiq within the Islamic educational system, with a special focus on Darul Huda Islamic University. The main research question is: How do debate methods affect the development of critical thinking skills compared to traditional teaching methods in the field of Mantiq? The study takes a mixed methodology that combines both qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis. The findings reflect how debate improves critical analysis, reasoning, and problem- solving skills compared to traditional teaching methods.

Other Information

Conference information: The 2nd International Conference on Debate & Dialogue : An Initiative of QatarDebate (19 - 20 May 2025, Qatar National Conventions Center - QNCC, Doha - Qatar)
License: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

See the conference information on the organizer's website: https://qatardebate.org/programs/academic-programs/2nd-icdd/
