description
This poster was given by Eihab Saeed A.Mohammad, Adrian De Chavez Bolotano and Afnas Vettu Poyil, Museum of Islamic Art

On October 12, 2022 the Museum of Islamic Art set the Guinness World Record of 55 languages used in a reading relay. This achievement illustrates the importance’s placed on reading, diversity, inclusivity and cultural diplomacy found here in Qatar. Setting the World record was not an easy project and involved working with over 300 volunteers from more than 55 communities. We worked with Embassies, community groups and schools to find the right people to represent the diverse languages and have the strength of character to set the record. This talk will explain the process of achieving the goal and the unexpected outcomes.
