الملخص:<p dir="ltr">This paper examines the evolution of martyrdom from its sacred origins in the Abrahamic traditions to its modern exploitation as a political tool by extremist groups. It defines martyrdom from both religious and secular perspectives, analyzing its manipulation to justify violence in Yemen and Afghanistan. Key concepts, such as martyrdom contracts and their transactional nature, are explored alongside case studies like the Houthi movement and Afghan jihad. The paper analyses external influences, including international funding and geopolitical agendas, while proposing de-radicalization programs and economic reforms to combat extremism.
