| Streszczenie: | <p>Ninety-one patients with a clinical diagnosis of dengue hospitalized in the pediatric department of Hospital Universitario de Neiva during the peak of chikungunya cases in Colombia were included. Acute-phase plasma samples (and a fraction of convalescent samples) underwent molecular and serological assays to identify the infecting arbovirus, circulating NS1 (for DENV), and virus-specific IgM/IgG responses.
