Summary:Góh căng are cooking pots with a wide opening and no rim. They are used to cook rice. One piece can be exchange for two bowls of uncooked rice or sold for 50.000 VND. In constrast with most of Ma Ly’s products, this one is red, not black : Ma Ly has not performed the post-firing process which consist in buring the pots in rice husk when they are just out of the fire to finish the burning in reducted atmosphere. It does not affect the quality of the pot. Only its visuals.
