Riassunto:
This study presents a high-resolution (30 m × 30 m) gridded dataset quantifying livestock manure and food waste generation, along with their nitrogen and phosphorus contents, across Ontario, Canada, for 2021. By integrating agricultural census data, high-resolution orthoimagery, and geospatial business registries, the dataset provides the first province-wide, fine-scale representation of organic waste and nutrient availability. It reveals strong spatial clustering, with the majority of manure and food waste concentrated in limited high-intensity zones, offering new insight for nutrient management, circular economy planning, and renewable energy development. The dataset, openly available in NetCDF format via Figshare, supports reproducible research and practical applications in environmental modeling, agricultural planning, and waste-to-resource infrastructure design.
