Summary:<p>Blocks and quotient graph are computed by automated hierarchical decomposition. (A) <i>r</i>-blocks and quotient graph after Michaelis-Menten type reduction. One has the same blocks for <i>r</i> = 1, 2. (B) <i>r</i>-blocks and reaction bipartite graph. For the decompositon, we have considered that the reaction is forward irreversible. The forward irreversibility conditions were verified by numerical simulations.</p>
