description In this publication we provide two appendices to our article on erosion control products (ECPs) and the potential for wildlife entanglement (Ward et al. 2020). Appendix 1 provides a product review of the 141 products listed on the Texas Department of Transportation’s Approved Product List showing the 10 attributes investigated for each product and resulting information found for each attribute. Information was obtained by reviews of product specification sheets from ECP company websites and communication with sales representatives or manufacturers. A blank space represents no information available for that attribute. A “N/A” indicates that an attribute is absent from that attribute category for that specific product. Appendix 2 provides the distribution of attribute trait categories and the availability of information available on the traits and their categories.<br>To provide more detail on the erosion control products than could be accommodated in our journal article.<br>Original data publication date was 03/25/2020. On 09/21/2020 metadata were updated to include reference to associated journal article that is now available. Additional minor metadata updates were made on 07/14/2025.
