Summary:<p>A volcano plot of the differentially abundant metabolites influenced by the interaction between treatment time and disease severity. The blue dots represent metabolites with decreased abundance as compared to the control while the red dots represent increased abundance as compared to the control. The x-axis shows the log2 fold change while the y-axis represents the –log10 adjusted p-value. The dotted line on the x-axis shows the log2 fold change cut off of 0.5 that was used in our analysis while the y-axis dotted line represents the p-value cut off of 0.05.</p>
