Counted craters were analyzed by Craterstats II software, using crater production function (PF) and chronology function (CF) to derive the surface age. However, the surface area of each Martian stepped delta, and the number of craters was not enough to estimate the age. To facilitate analysis, some stepped deltas were grouped based on spatial and geomorphic similarity. Each group consists of deltas that meet the following criteria: latitude and longitude differences of ≤ 20°, and elevation differences of ≤ 500 m (Fig. S7; Table S2).

Format: SCC or DIAM, compatible with Craterstats II software.

Usage Notes:

l Coordinate System: GCS_Mars_2000_Sphere.

l Epochs: Mars, Michael (2013)

l Production function (PF): Mars, Hartmann & Daubar (2016)

l Chronology function (CF): Mars, Hartmann (2005) [Michael (2013)]
|
