This chapter aims to provide a preface on the book, highlighting the main aspects of each of the subsequent twenty chapters and the plethora of issues related to science and mathematics in multicultural contexts. The chapter examines the main directions of science and mathematics education, especially in the main context of the MENA, GCC, and UAE contexts. Also, it states briefly the main challenges faced in the development of research and practice in these fields. |
