description Technology has affected education in several ways. This study investigated the one-to-one laptop initiative in the Applied Technology High school in the United Arab Emirates. The data collection tools used were teachers and students questionnaires and students mark review. The results of the study suggested that teachers and students had positive attitudes as well as some negatives during the implementation. It also concluded that students have achieved better when they use laptops to study science. The study concluded with implications and recommendations for better implementation of one-to-one laptop initiative in schools.
