Supporting data for manuscript "Voluntary locomotion induces an early and remote hemodynamic decrease in the large cerebral veins"
Published 2025“…
The CSV file 'Eyreetal_DrainingVein_SourceData' contains the averaged time series traces and extracted metrics from individual experiments used across Figures 1-5 in the manuscript "Voluntary locomotion induces an early and remote hemodynamic decrease in the large cerebral veins". The following acronyms included in the CSV file are defined as follows: Hbt is total hemoglobin, Art is artery region, DV is draining vein region, WV is whisker vein region, SEM is standard error mean, TS is time series, max peak is maximum peak, min peak is minima, AUC is area under the curve, WT is wild-type, AD is Alzheimer's disease, ATH is atherosclerosis and MIX is mixed AD/atherosclerosis. …”

Summary statistics for Varroa intensity in number of mites per 300 bees and potential environmental explanatory variables, Mean (SD). Note that the standard deviation for floral quality and insecticide load are lower for testing data than training data due to location variability. Training data (2018–2019) apiaries are located throughout the entire state. In 2020, there are hives near the Chicago area and in Central-Western IL only, and in 2021 only near Chicago. The testing data (2020–2021) do not include any apiaries in northwest or southern IL. Floral quality and insecticide load are more variable in southern IL in particular (see Fig 2), decreasing the SD for the testing data.

Table 3_Road transportation is associated with decreased intestinal motility in horses.docx
Published 2025“…Horses with high heart rates, high sweat scores or abnormal demeanour on arrival demonstrated decreased intestinal motility. Salivary cortisol concentrations increased after transportation (mean difference, 95% CI, for T0 vs T1 was 1.66, 1.09−2.53 nmol/L) and were inversely associated with intestinal motility. …”
