Response of cauliflower (Brassica oleracea L.) to nitric oxide application under cadmium stress
Published 2022“…The present study was conducted using four different genotypes of B. oleracea named as FD-3, FD-4, FD-2 and Ceilo Blanco which were subjected to the Cd stress at various concentrations i.e., 0, 5, 10 and 20 µM with or without the application of NO i.e., 0.10 mM in the sand containing nutrient Hoagland’s solution. …”

The effects of oxygen concentration on in vitro output of prostaglandin E2 and interleukin-6 from human fetal membranes.
Published 2007“…In this study, we have investigated the effect of oxygen tension on fetal membrane biology, as a reconsideration of the literature suggests that fetal membranes are normally exposed to approximately 3% O(2) (approximately 20 mmHg) in vivo, rather than the 20% O(2) (150 mmHg) used for in vitro culture. …”

Pharmacoeconomic evaluation of voriconazole vs. liposomal amphotericin B in empiric treatment of invasive fungal infections in Turkey
Published 2013“…Univariate sensitivity analysis highlighted that increasing the duration of voriconazole by >1.2 days or decreasing LAmB by >1.0 days changes the result. Monte Carlo Simulation resulted in 69.4% of simulations favouring voriconazole per patient treated. Conclusion: There is a strong likelihood that voriconazole is economically more favourable than LAmB in the empiric treatment of IFI in Turkey.…”

Flexural behavior of reinforced concrete beams prepared with treated Wastewater, recycled concrete Aggregates, and fly ash
Published 2022“…The test parameters include mixing water type (fresh water and TWW), coarse aggregate type (natural gabbro and RCA), and FA content (0% and 20%). The results suggested that the use of TWW, RCA, and FA had no significant effect on the beams' cracking patterns and reinforcement strain at yielding, whereas TWW and RCA decreased the beams' ductility by 8.7% and 15.9%, respectively. …”

Functionalization of reverse osmosis membrane with graphene oxide to reduce both membrane scaling and biofouling
Published 2020“…demonstrating improvement in hydrophilic properties besides decreasing membrane surface roughness. Membrane scaling tests were done in the presence of CaSO4 solution at 20 mM concentration as feedwater showed that the modified membranes (GO@RO) had superior anti-scaling properties. …”
