Emerging clay-aryl-gold nanohybrids for efficient electrocatalytic proton reduction
Published 2018“…Both nanohybrids showed efficient electrochemical activity for HER in acidic condition (0.1 M H2SO4) with high current density up to −25 mA.cm−2 at −1 V and 0.148 mV onset. Negligible decreasing in current density and slight shift in onset was observed after 1000 cycles. …”

Cyclic voltammetry and XPS studies of poly (aniline-co-3-aminophenol)
Published 2022“…In the electrochemical study, the copolymers differ from PA in the single-electron oxidation and reduction, reversibly at various scan rates ranging from 20 to 50 mV. The current density decreases from PA-co-3-AP20 to PA-co-3-AP80 by increasing the loading weight percentage of 3-aminophenol in the polymeric backbone. …”

Tailoring the defects of sub-100 nm multipodal titanium nitride/oxynitride nanotubes for efficient water splitting performance
Published 2021“…XPS, XPS imaging, Auger electron spectra, and positron annihilation spectroscopy disclosed that the high nitridation rate induced the generation of a mixture of Ti-nitride and oxynitride with various vacancy-type defects, including monovacancies, vacancy clusters, and a few voids inside TiOxNTs. These defects decreased the bandgap energy to 2.4 eV, increased visible-light response, and enhanced the incident photon-to-current collection efficiency (IPCE) and the photocurrent density of TiONxNTs by nearly 8 times compared with TiO2NTs, besides a quick carrier diffusion at the nanotube/electrolyte interface. …”
