Data_Sheet_1_Variations in the SDN Loop of Class A Beta-Lactamases: A Study of the Molecular Mechanism of BlaC (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) to Alter the Stability and Catalytic Act...
Published 2021“…To understand the molecular reasoning behind the unavailability of such mutation in real life, we have used circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), molecular dynamics (MD) simulation, and stability-based enzyme activity to compare the stability and dynamic behaviors of native and S130G/A mutant form of BlaC. A significant decrease in melting temperature (BlaC TM 60°C, S130A TM 50°C, and S130G TM 45°C), kinetic instability at higher temperature, and comparative dynamic instability correlate the fact that resistance to beta-lactam/beta-lactamase inhibitor combinations will likely not arise from the structural alteration of BlaC, therefore establishing confidence that this therapeutic modality can be potentially applied as a part of a successful treatment regimen against M. tuberculosis.…”

STRATEGIES FOR STEM MEASUREMENT SAMPLING: A STATISTICAL APPROACH OF MODELLING INDIVIDUAL TREE VOLUME
Published 2021“…Schumacher-Hall model was applied using five sampling criteria with nine variations (45 in total): 1) number of trees per diameter class, being (a) fixed number, (b) proportional to the diameter class of the sample, or (c) proportional to the standard deviation of the sample; and 2) the width of the diameter class, which ranged from 1.0 up to 5.0 cm. …”

<i>nr2f1a</i> modulates the expression of vascular markers.
Published 2014“…In addition, expression of the arterial marker <i>ephrinb2</i> (<b>H</b>) and pan-vascular marker <i>stabilin</i> decreased (<b>B</b>). (<b>I</b>) Quantification of the relative expression level by qPCR assay showed a ∼25% to 50% reduced expression in vascular markers <i>flt4</i> (0.66±0.14), <i>EphB4</i> (0.46±0.08), <i>gridlock</i> (0.73±0.06) and <i>ephrinb2</i> (0.59±0.05) in <i>nr2f1a</i> morphants. *** refers to p<0.0001, ** refers to p<0.001 and * refers to p<0.05 by an unpaired student’s t-test. …”

Representative Proteomes: A Stable, Scalable and Unbiased Proteome Set for Sequence Analysis and Functional Annotation
Published 2011“…One approach to dealing with this problem is to minimize the number of proteins subjected to such analysis in a way that minimizes loss of information. To this end we have developed a set of Representative Proteomes (RPs), each selected from a Representative Proteome Group (RPG) containing similar proteomes calculated based on co-membership in UniRef50 clusters. …”
