Global Land Use Change Impacts on Soil Nitrogen Availability and Environmental Losses
Published 2025“…However, how global land use changes impact soil N supply and potential N loss remains elusive. By compiling a global data set of 1,782 paired observations from 185 publications, we show that land use conversion from natural to managed ecosystems significantly reduced NNM by 7.5% (−11.5, −2.8%) and increased NN by 150% (86, 194%), indicating decreasing N availability while increasing potential N loss through denitrification and nitrate leaching. …”

Decreased fetal weight in CrryshRNA mice.
Published 2020“…<p>Fetal and placental weights were measured at 17.5 dpc soon after euthanasia (n = 5–7), A) Average fetal weight was significantly reduced (<i>p</i> = 0.048) in CrryshRNA mice compared to control group B) Average placental weight was not different between the two groups C) Fetal-placental weight ratio was significantly decreased (<i>p</i> = 0.045) in Crry shRNA mice compared to control mice.…”

Cardamonin inhibited tumor growth and decreased FASN and Raptor.
Published 2025“…Cardamonin reduces the protein expression of Raptor, thereby inhibiting the mTORC1-regulated DNL pathway. This leads to a decrease in free fatty acid levels. Subsequently, the reduced levels of free fatty acids inhibit the activity of mitochondrial CPT-1 and induces mitochondrial dependent apoptosis. …”
