Supplementary Material for: Longitudinal Decrease in Left Ventricular Size with Age: Impact on Mortality and Cardiovascular Hospitalization
Published 2025“…This study investigated clinical characteristics and outcomes associated with longitudinal decreases in LV size in this population. Methods: We analyzed echocardiographic data from 6,232 adults with normal baseline left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD), with a mean interval of 4.8 years between baseline and follow-up echocardiograms. …”

Data of the article "The physiological cost of being hot: High thermal stress and disturbance decrease energy reserves in dragonflies in the wild"
Published 2025“…These changes can strongly affect insects, particularly those experiencing high thermal stress (i.e, large differences between body and environmental temperature), as prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures can reduce their energetic reserves due to increased metabolic demands and physiological stress. We evaluated thermal stress in 16 insect dragonfly species during two sampling periods (2019 and 2022) in preserved and disturbed sites within a tropical dry forest in western Mexico. …”

Data from: Colony losses of stingless bees increase in agricultural areas, but decrease in forested areas
Published 2025“…On average, meliponiculturists lost 43.4 % of their stingless bee colonies annually, 33.3 % during the rainy season, and 22.0 % during the dry season. We found that colony losses during the rainy season decreased with higher abundance of forested areas and increased with higher abundance of agricultural area around meliponaries. …”

Contrasting Size Dependence of Photochemical Lifetimes of Polypropylene and Expanded Polystyrene Microplastics in Surface Waters
Published 2025“…Sunlight-driven photochemistry can dissolve buoyant microplastics, producing dissolved organic carbon (DOC). We hypothesized that plastic dissolution would increase linearly with increasing surface area (SA)-to-volume (V) ratio as plastics decrease in size. …”

Published 2025“…

The purposes of this paper are to develop measurement scale of value co-creation among spectators in professional spectating sporting events by means of Study I and to examine the effects of social media strategies on value co-creation among spectators through Study II. In Study I, a five-phase framework for developing a measurement scale is adopted including items generation, items refinement and edition, exploration of the latent factor structure of the scale and confirmation of reliability, examination of the structure of the factors, and scale validation. …”
