BrdU incorporation is elevated in clrn1-/- zebrafish at 4 mpf and decreases with age.
Published 2025“…Quantification of Brdu+ nuclei in the (e) outer nuclear layer (ONL, or Photoreceptor layer) and (f) inner nuclear layer (INL) revealed an increase in BrdU incorporation for <i>clrn1</i><i>-/-</i> zebrafish at the youngest time point which decreased with age. White arrows highlight BrdU+ nuclei. …”

Table 1_Decreased neuronal excitability in hypertriglyceridemia hamsters with acute seizures.docx
Published 2024“…</p>Conclusion<p>Hypertriglyceridemic Apoc2−/− hamsters exhibited reduced seizure frequency and decreased cortical neuron excitability. The upregulation of ZDHHC14, leading to increased IA, may be a crucial mechanism underlying the observed seizure protection.…”

Association of each health behavior and the reported decrease in psychological well-being during the pandemic between individuals who often/very often compared to rarely/never engaged in health behaviors. Results are predicted means and 95% confidence intervals from linear model analysis adjusted for age, gender, worked in patient care, had school aged children, near high-risk relatives and in high-risk group. Negative values indicate a reduction in psychological well-being decline while positive values indicate an increase in physical health decline.
