Voxel-based whole-hemisphere analysis shows regional and dose-dependent decrease of microglia.
Published 2025“…<p>(A) Each 3-dimensional map of statistically affected voxels (p < 0.05, with the red scale, representing the significance in decrease of microglia, and the cyan scale, representing the increase in microglia; reference atlas is grey) summarizes all the treated and control samples within a cohort (3 samples per group). …”

Phosphorylation as an Effective Tool to Improve Stability and Reduce Toxicity of Antimicrobial Peptides
Published 2024“…Among them, W3BipY8-P stood out as the most promising peptide, exhibiting similar antibacterial activity as its unphosphorylated analog W3BipY8 but with significantly reduced hemolytic activity (19-fold decrease), cytotoxicity (3.3-fold decrease), and an extended serum half-life 6.3 times longer than W3BipY8. …”

Data Sheet 1_Decreased neuronal excitability in hypertriglyceridemia hamsters with acute seizures.docx
Published 2024“…Following seizure induction, free palmitic acid levels in the frontal cortex dialysate significantly decreased, while the expression of palmitoyl acyltransferase 14 (ZDHHC14) in the frontal cortex tissue was higher in Apoc2−/− hamsters than in wild-type hamsters. …”

Effect of ex vivo treatment with rhTGFβ1 or a TGFβ1 inhibitor on monocyte responses to rgE stimulation. Monocytes and NK cells purified from PBMC collected from 10 RZV recipients (demographics in S4 Table) before vaccination (D0) and 90 days post-vaccination (D90) were combined ex vivo and stimulated with VZV-rgE. A subset of D0 monocyte & NK cocultures was also treated with the TGFβ1 inhibitor LY (D0 LY), and a subset of D90 cocultures were supplemented with rhTGFβ1. The graph shows individual data points, means and p values calculated by Friedman test for repeated measures with FDR correction. LY treatment of cells collected on D0 significantly increased their activation to levels similar to D90. Conversely, treatment of D90 cells with rhTGFβ1 significantly decreased their activation to levels similar to D0.
