Spatial variation of water availability in Hebi. by Shaolei Guo (3146259)

    Published 2024
“…The results indicate that: (1) During the study period, the overall land use type in Hebi City has been constantly changing, with the most significant conversion from arable land to other land types; combined with its landscape pattern index, Hebi City has a general characteristic of significant landscape fragmentation and complexity in land use. (2) Habitat quality in Hebi shows an overall trend towards better development, with water availability decreasing and then increasing; the zoning of ecosystem services in Hebi is divided into three classes: superior, good and general, with the area covered by the superior and general classes expanding year by year. (3) Correlation analysis by SPSS software shows that the correlation between habitat quality and landscape pattern index is greater than the correlation between habitat quality and climate change. …”

Relative Contributions of Base Stacking and Electrostatic Repulsion on DNA Nicks and Gaps by Paul D. Harris (9634334)

    Published 2020
“…In duplex DNA, the continuous sugar phosphate backbones prevent the double helix from significant bending, but breaks in the duplex such as nicks, gaps, and flaps present points at which significant bending is possible. …”

    Speech-Gap Test® procedure. by Éva Hegedűs (19452526)

    Published 2024
“…In this 24-week-long, naturalistic, self-control, open-labeled, prospective pilot study with 10 mg donepezil on 20 mild AD patients, cognitive functions were evaluated using 15 different SRTPs analyzed by automatic speech recognition in the Speech-Gap Test® compared to ADAS-Cog test results. Among the SRTPs, the filled pause duration ratio significantly improved after 12 weeks of donepezil treatment. …”

Classes of errors and gaps in BOLD metadata. by Frederik Stein (22146203)

    Published 2025
“…ASAP was found to be superior to RESL due to RESL’s adherence to the concept of the DNA barcoding gap. Moreover, we found that taxonomic misassignments, inconsistencies in BIN formation, and missing metadata also contribute significantly to unreliable identifications. …”
