A simple analog space-time coded Transmitted-Reference MIMO UWB transceiver
In this paper, we propose a new Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) transceiver for Transmitted-Reference Impulse-Radio Ultra-Wideband (TR-IR-UWB) communications. | Summary: | In this paper, we propose a new Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) transceiver for Transmitted-Reference Impulse-Radio Ultra-Wideband (TR-IR-UWB) communications. The proposed scheme is capable of achieving full spatial and multi-path diversity orders while assuring a simple symbol-by-symbol decodability with analog autocorrelation receivers that do not require any kind of channel estimation. This approach results in high performance levels while keeping the natural advantages of simple and low-cost TR-UWB receivers that do not require local oscillators or analog-to-digital converters. |
