It examines global and regional trends in scholarly output, with a focus on literature produced in the MENA region between 2015 and 2025. The analysis highlights disciplinary patterns and outlines the risks predatory publishing poses to institutions, including reputational damage, skewed research metrics, funding vulnerabilities, faculty and student exploitation, and policy gaps.
