Roughing out the base of a bassin (chàu) in Phù Mỹ village 1/4 : flattening the patty
Nguyễn Thị Phương has spread ashes on the surface of the wheel. She now places a patty of clay in the center and using the back of her wrist (right hand), she taps the patty while turning the turntable (left hand). This flattens the patty into a disc of about 1cm thick.
